THE BACKSTORY

NOHO was created by three longtime friends who have had too many fuzzy mornings forgetting the details about the night before. Such as how they managed to shave an eyebrow, accumulate ridiculous bar tabs, have strange cell numbers with even stranger texts, and worst of all...bad hangovers. As memories slowly came back and the good times were confirmed, the one thing that was as sure as them having an epic night was the inevitable price they’d pay with horrible hangovers. Like many others, they attempted whatever they could to help: eating greasy foods, drinking water and sports drinks, loading up on aspirin...but if there was only a way to AVOID getting hangovers altogether. Their prayers were answered in the form of meeting a licensed pharmacist through a mutual old friend. While out on the town one night, the subject of hangovers came up. Without blinking an eye the Dr. whipped out a formula he had come up with years before while in residency at a local Emergency Room. The formula was based around the IV drips people receive when they come in for alcohol poisoning or other dehydration related ailments. After some research and tweaking, NOHO’s secret proprietary formula was developed and tested, with overwhelmingly positive results.

GETTING STARTED

The three friends realized they had something special on their hands and that is when NOHO: The Hangover Defense ™ was born. With little more than a few bucks in their pockets and backgrounds in the action sports and related lifestyle industries (DJs, music, fashion, nightlife) the three struggling entrepreneurs started by handing out NOHO to all their friends and friend’s friends. It was an instant hit, as the saying “birds of a feather flock together” goes their friends are just as big of partiers as the three of them. So the NOHO love spread quickly as their vitamin concoction was like magic in a little 2 oz bottle.

After such a great initial reception to their anti-hangover prevention product, the NOHO brand took a drastic turn when the partners realized that they needed some help (aka CASH!) in really turning the NOHO brand into what they knew it could be. They were introduced to a successful business man who shared their vision and goals. The NOHO guys knew that having some corporate stiff with an impressive portfolio wasn’t what they needed. They needed someone that shared their passion, vision, and overall direction for NOHO as a lifestyle driven brand. They found their perfect match in a new owner/CEO that is a successful self-made entrepreneur, young, motivated, covered with tattoos, thinks a “board room” is a place for your skateboard, and most importantly has the same focus and drive to turn NOHO into the next big item in the beverage industry. To date, NOHO has secured distribution rights with several large distributors in major markets such as California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Pennsylvania. After a few years of hard work, trials and tribulations that many start up brands go through, NOHO finds itself at the forefront of an all new category in the beverage industry that they helped create. NOHO is a growing brand, leading the way as the Functional Lifestyle Beverage that everyone is talking about.
